National Numeracy
A new organisation, that works in partnership with other groups and bodies with related interests to strengthen the collective impact of stakeholders across the numeracy and mathematics community.

STatistics Education Web (STEW)
STatistics Education Web (STEW) is ASA ( American Statistical Association) reaching out to mathematics and science teachers who teach statistics concepts in their classrooms. STEW is an online resource for peer-reviewed lesson plans for teachers.

RSS Careers
Details of appropriate choices that can be made at any stage to pursue a career in statistics, together with details of careers in statistics in different areas.

RSS Qualifications through Distance Learning
It is possible to study for the RSS Certificates and Diploma by distance learning. The courses are run from the University of Southampton.

Interactive Software – Computer Assisted Statistics Teaching (CAST) from Doug Stirling at Massey University, New Zealand.

Journal of Statistics Education (JSE)
A rigorously refereed electronic journal on post secondary statistics education. The goal of the JSE is to provide interesting and useful information, ideas, software, and data sets to an international readership of statistics educators. Includes copies of the electronic Journal of Statistics Education.

International Study Group for Research on Learning Probability and Statistics
An informal research network of people who share a common interest in carrying research into the teaching and learning statistics at all age levels. Available via web page of the Statistical Education Research Group at the University of Granada.

The Chance database contains materials designed to help teach a Chance course or a more standard introductory probability or statistics course. The aim of Chance is to make students more informed, and critical readers of current news that uses probability and statistics as reported in the news.

Maths, Stats & OR Network

Data and Story Library (DASL)
An online library of data files and stories that illustrate the use of basic statistics methods. The site provides data from a wide variety of topics so that statistics teachers can find real-world examples that will be interesting to their students.

International Association for Statistical Education (IASE) 
The International Statistical Institute General Assembly established IASE during the 48th ISI Session is Cairo, 1991. IASE is devoted to the development and improvement of statistical education on a world-wide basis. The IASE now produces the Statistics Education Research Journal.

International Statistical Literacy Project
The International Statistical Literacy Project of the International Statistical Institute has as main objective to contribute to statistical literacy across the world, among young and adults, in all walks of life.

Sportscience Research Resources
This on-line text covers the essentials of statistics for researchers. The examples are taken from exercise and sport science, but the principles apply to all empirical sciences.

Wiley & TED talks plus educational support materials
Wiley in collaboration with TED have a curated series of talks with specially commissioned educational support materials.

Quantitative Methods Initiative
The ESRC’s Quantitative Methods Initiative aims to improve capacity in quantitative social science and make best possible use of the UK’s world-class data infrastructure. It covers the entire educational life course from school projects to postdoctoral research and all social science disciplines. It includes both research and teaching and learning.
